Senior Coffeehouse

G.W. Carver Center for the Arts and Technology

May 11th, 2019

My story began with a magical idea when I was twelve, but the journey from idea to publication took six years. I joined a Literary Arts Program in order to hone the writing craft and develop editorial skills. I revised entire chunks of my novel, created a business and social media platform, and made connections across the industry. In my senior year of high school, my time to publish had arrived.

This page is dedicated to my Senior Coffeehouse, where I debuted Rise of the Ieta with my peers, who also self-published. It was a magical night involving friends, family, and future readers. That night will be celebrated in years to come. The Senior Coffeehouse bore the fruit of my labors and it tasted oh so sweet.
